Average Retire G (for Gals & Guys), would like to suggest a tip to get the most out of your life and retirement.

Life is a continuous learning process. Enjoying retirement is just another process of learning to live. When you wake up in the morning, I suggest that in order to get your day started right, learn to list daily at least three (3) things that you would like do. This list should be put together as your day is ending and you are enjoying your evening.

Once you start this habit of putting a daily written list of things to do for the following day, you will start to notice several things.

First, you will now be giving yourself direction and purpose. You are creating your 'daily planner.' Keep in mind that you can always add or subtract to this list. This is only a starting point not an ending point.

Secondly, this will get you into the habit of establishing goals and ideas. Now that you have the flexibility and freedom, what is it that you always wanted to do or had an interest in doing? This will also help you establish a positive mental outlook of yourself. We all need a feel-good moment.

Finally, you can now have control and bring order into your daily life. Get in the habit of telling your life what to do, don't let your life tell you what to do.

Try this month's suggestion and see if you notice a difference in your life. Don't forget to invite someone you know who is or will be retiring to visit us at,

Remember, Average Retire G (for Gals & Guys) is about learning, sharing and enjoying all the benefits that come with the journey of retirement.
