Making it thru another holiday.
As we approach the year end, we enter the holiday season which holds what I personally consider the the most important celebration of the year. The birth of Jesus Christ, my Lord & Savior. Christmas is a time of year where all my fellow retirees need to not only reflect on what happened this year, but it can also be a time to connect and reconnect with family & friends. And in some cases reach out and make new friends.
My fellow retirees, I reach out to you today to say that no one should spend this holiday season alone. No matter where you live, there are agencies in your area designed to help retirees make this a joyful and memorable time of the year for you.
This is also a time of year, not only to reflect on the past, but to start planning for a new year that will be coming in the next few weeks. Now is the time to not look at what you didn't do this year, but to start setting goals for next year.
Some people retired this year and some people have been retired for years. There are some people who will be reiring either next year or in the coming years.
I am excited what 2024 has to offer all retirees and what Average Retire G has planned for this coming (new) year. I ask you to join me in 2024 and check back and check in regurlarly (preferably weekly) to see what Average Retire G has to offer.
Whatever you do this holiday season, please reach out to a family member, friend, neighbor (someone you know and trust) or find a agency in your area that focuses on helping retirees.
Please don't spend this holiday season alone, I know in my heart that it was not God's intention for us to be isolated or alone. Remember, that joy (happiness) is the second most used word in the Bible.
We shall reconnect soon, stay safe and God Bless,
Greg from Average Retire G
